daffodils

Nothing much to show or report, but I wanted to record that I planted 'Ice Follies' and 'Barrett Browning' daffodils in my beds. Hopefully I'll see some blooms this year, I know I am very late on the planting.

  4. Hi Jen,
You asked a ? on my blog, alliesinstitches, where you could get a better look at that Lei quilt...I didn't know how else to contact you except here!
The quilt was done by the Maui Art Quilters, and you can see it here:

    1. Thanks Allie -- REALLY beautiful quilting there! And Thanks Daricia as well, what crocuses did you plant? I keep meaning to plant some of those as well.

    2. jen, i planted Crocus tommasinianus because they are species crocuses and supposed to be a little less interesting to squirrels than some of the others. unfortunately, they appear to have eaten a bunch of them anyway. i love the smaller size of these. they're so pretty with snowdrops, too.
